After some timeout period with noresponse, it moves on and tries the secondary. x servers are definitely reliable and respond quickly.
I have been using them for a month and so farit has cost me $ 2.

If you are certain that you typed the names correctly, the problem could be that the host and domain names are new and have not yet been added to the DNS server's list.

AFAIK, unless you set up an account, you get "Typo redirection" when you use their DNS servers. I usually try pinging any DSN server I plan to use to see what the latency is.

Generally speaking, if the latency is high, your DSN responses may not seem fast.

I don't get a negative reply (not found), but just a timeout. I noticed a "Vonage" in your avatar.
